Risk management considers all risks involved in the production process or mission and works with teams to minimise any impacts of these risks. They must plan, design, and implement a process to manage risks such as going over budget, risk to the company overall and the risk of not finishing the project in time. They must communicate these risks to others.

Technical knowledge either through a degree or previous experience. A bachelors degree is usually required.
