Chosen career:
Space Nutritionist
Health
Description
Space nutritionists plan the food that will be sent on missions with astronauts. This involves making sure they get enough of each food group but also giving them a choice of food. This is now far from the days of pureed food in a tube – astronauts are sent all sorts of meals and snacks, but they must be packaged in the correct way to survive the journey and to not damage any parts of a spacecraft, such as by making crumbs that can float away.
