Weather data analysts look at processing different types of data such as air temperature, wind speed and direction to improve weather forecasting. This data can come from satellites, weather balloons or ground stations. This is important for launch and re-entry of spacecraft to make sure that astronauts, the mission, and the public below are all safe.
