Plymouth is the next stop on the UK Space Agency's Space for Everyone Tour! We’re landing on the Piazza, near the Armada Centre.
Join us to discover the important role of space in our everyday lives and dive into the vast array of space-related jobs in the UK space industry. The best part is the tour is completely free and there’s no need to book in advance.
Simply turn up within the opening hours and immerse yourself in the endless possibilities of space!
Directions
This is how you get there by Foot, Rail & Car.
By Foot:
From Armada shopping center, make your way directly south (to the right) on Armada Way.
You will need to cross both Mayflower Street & the sundial, but the Piazza is directly south.
You will find the Piazza opposite Costa Coffee & House of Fraser.
By Rail:
Turn right from Plymouth Railway onto Saltash Rd.
Continue Left down this road until you come to N Cross Roundabout. From here you can cross to the middle of the roundabout.
Continue directly across and you will be able to cross onto Armada Way. From here just continue along Armada Way, crossing Mayflower Street & the sundial until you reach the Piazza.
By Car:
If you are driving, it is recommended that you use a GPS or Satnav app. The Postcode for the Piazza is PL1 1HH.
The A374 leads directly to Plymouth center. From here, turn off onto the B3240 to get to the recommended Car Park.
The nearest car park is the Civic Centre Car Park. The postcode for the car park is PL1 2TR.
From here, to get to the Piazza, cross Royal Parade street onto Armada way and continue along this path to the left. This leads directly to the Piazza.
