Directions

By Foot:

West Bargate is located in the city center of Southampton, making it easily accessible on foot. If you are already in the city center, you can simply walk towards West Bargate. The exact walking directions may depend on your starting point, but generally, you can head towards Above Bar Street and continue straight until you reach West Bargate. It is a prominent landmark and should be easy to locate.

By Rail:

If you prefer to travel by train, Southampton Central Railway Station is the most convenient option. From there, you can follow these steps to reach West Bargate:

  • Exit the railway station and head south on Blechynden Terrace.
  • Cross the road at the traffic lights and continue straight onto Bernard Street.
  • Continue on Bernard Street until you reach a junction with Above Bar Street.
  • Turn right onto Above Bar Street and continue straight.
  • After a short walk, you will reach West Bargate.
By Car:

If you are traveling by car, the nearest car park to West Bargate is the West Park Road Multi-Storey Car Park. Here are the directions to the car park, and then to West Bargate:

  • Set your GPS or navigation system to West Park Road, Southampton, SO15 1AP.
  • The West Park Road Multi-Storey Car Park is conveniently located near West Bargate.
  • Once you have parked your car, exit the car park and head northeast on West Park Road.
  • Turn right onto Above Bar Street and continue straight.
  • After a short walk, you will arrive at West Bargate.
